  2. Its NOT DEI in action. Its what happens when a great idea - picketing throughout these days and before when white owned business had to be forced to hire blacks - gets treated by a blanket reasoning and media trying to make people forget that it came about because of a cause. DEI as intended is supposed to open doors that were previously not considering that 18 percent of the population formally were excluded from even 18 percent of the most lucrative jobs. Its been blamed for problems directly connected to not wanting the 18 percent to have this access. Never should an unqualified person get a job because of DEI. The problem is that qualified folks were denied jobs that sometimes went to lesser qualified other skin types. Thus an attempt to prevent this holdover from Jim Crowe. DEI isn't a problem. Effective use is a solution and please stop making a policy meant to open doors seem like one.
