Its not about if a real theft occurred or not. 4 year old picks up doll and walks out of a dollar store. Maybe too young to not realize that its something that needs to be paid for. Dont know fully about the supposed underwear. At a dollar store the entire "take" (sarcastic) may have been as low as $5.00, as high as your $40.00. Its the treating of a family of humans that might have been shoplifting as a felon wanted for shooting a bus load of folks on their way to a casino. The alleged crime was a misdemeanor. No gun was reported yet it was handled as a bank robber trying to rundown some officers that happen to be in the way of his escape. Thats what this is about. The treating of a supposed incident as if hundreds of people lives were in jeopardy. It was really a pregnant woman, two minor children age about kindergarten, and their father in front of where they dropped off their kids at a babysitter. Pulling guns on a minor offense in front of where many kids were hopefully sleeping is what is wrong. If I remember correctly a $40.00 theft can be penalized with a fine in some courts. A crime that get handled at the courts cashier, like a parking ticket.

You wouldnt feel the same way if it was your child at the babysitters inside where all of these guns were drawn. Bullets have a way of missing their intended target, or even going through their targets and hitting some one else.
