You didn't try to do it, but society must have rules so folks dont just expect that saying its a mistake will get a person off for murder. Sry, but you are subject to being convicted of manslaughter. In 1979 Richard Pryor had a skit about how when being pulled over by police, he yelled "I AM REACHING IN MY POCKET FOR MY LICENSE, so he wouldn't be "accidentally" shot. It places a humorous reference point on how society is many times distance when it came to police violence. The Rodney king case told how a jury of peers thought every cop was innocent of excessive force when it came to arresting king.
