@brandyhenderson I feel that a lot of what you see as over correcting is just because of the attention slightly less racists then supremists have given the topic. African Americans are about 15% of the population. Wealth and living standards aren't up to the same percentage as that percentage. ~ 85% of the population have more than that in financial power. This is why DEI is important. Going back to Abraham Lincoln, he understood that when the slaves were freed they would need a start, a way in to be able to make it on their own. 40 acres and a mule was a concession to give released slaves a fair chance to make it. Reparations as it were. Instead of having a chance to start the path to generational wealth and conforbility going forward, especially Southern states made it difficult to live free. Right through the civil right years big businesses that eventually equal big paychecks weren't hiring with respect to the availability of new candidates. If a white neophyte can have a chance to make big advances up the ladder of success why all of the continuing resistance to give someone else the same chance. One thing about America is that when laws are passed resistance to giving chances where they were purposely overlooked becomes status quo. This is why DEI is needed.

Not gonna change the results but Kamala campaigned for 120 days. Trump campaigned for 1800. Right after he lost to Biden that got worse on Jan 6 2020. He got the popular vote because the name folks were familiar with was Biden. There were still folks in Nov 2024 that just heard of Kamala. All of the court cases and posters saying STOP THE STEAL (lie,we know) was publicity. 1800 days of not wanting to say he lost and being constantly in ThE news, got him the popular vote. Kamalas 120 days did serious catch up. Don't know if Biden would have done much better.

You missed the thing Eric Trump said while outside the court house before the verdict. In explaining why he felt his pops would beat this recent court case too, he said we will win, "WE ARE WHITE" (google : Trump's son makes shocking Freudian slip) so he felt that in opposition to some, rich white privileged exists and is actually expected. Surprised anyone?

Leeja You have gotta know that the industry that is being positioned as being uncaring to their patients proved it as after their CEO was murdered out in the streets in front of the building that he was supposed to give a profit shareholder speech - THE MEETING WENT ON WITHOUT HIM AS THE SHAREHOLDERS WALKED AROUND THE CRIME SCENE TAPE THAT IS MEANT TO DEFINE THE CRIME SCENE.
