...I wondered the same thing. Its about the folks that know what happened, and go on as if nothing happened. Especially in the institution of higher learning treating it with no social impact to her furtherance. When these things are mitigated early as a social wrong, it places stop-gaps to it continuing. When there isnt any penalty the next occasion of it happening, happens easier because society is complicit with its non action. So the problem goes on. Must be penalties so as she matures she wont raise another generation of folks that thinks these things are ok.

Question? What more did the gov want considering that Tik Tok had already moved its data over to Oracle computers in Virginia and Singapore. What else could they do to insure that its not a Chinese company?
