  1. I wish you would have started this by making it clear that - as Trump has confused in his speeches - that tariffs are paid by Americans. American importers pay it at first then the importer passes the tariff on to consumers. Americans pay the tariffs not China or any other foreign exporter. Make this clear please. Once this is understood its easier to understand its implications.
