@apbt067 Its rare in an America in which they needed an amendment to ratify the rights of freed slaves, that someone could possibly think that a win expressedly designed to be given to blacks, could convince themselves that, that wasn't an acknowledgement that it was racism at its core. Whats more to consider?

I read that its because they know, but have a serious problem admitting that it was they who were acting like the savages that they wanted to blame others as being like. Somewhat in todays multiracial world, they don't want their children to see particular parts of their heritage as being "mean" to other races. Its unavoidable that systemic racism exists - getting excluded in places - by the exceptionally simple fact that the daggon country had to amend the countries constitution to give social rights to those who were once enslaved. If you have to make it federal law to not exclude certain folks, doesn't that mean they were excluded previous to those amendments? Systemically excluded?
