  1. The Afghan military just gave up and did not have the will to fight. If they are not willing to fight for their country there is not much anyone else can do. People change sides for a small bribe. Corruption is an ingrained part of society. We spent 2 trillion dollars and 20 years to arm and train them to protect their country. What a waste of time, money and lives . Without the people of Afghanistan standing up for themselves it will never get better for women and children.
