  2. Farmers need to stop burning stubble in India. They need to mulch the stubble into the soil. Mulching the stubble will add nutrients into the soil and reduce air pollution from burning. Mulching will increase incomes by reducing costs for fertilizers and water. Mulched soil is healthier and holds water better. Farmers could share a mulching machine and it can go from farm to farm to share the cost.
