  1. For decades property developers have filled in wetlands and low lying areas and built homes, strip malls and shopping centers on them. Wetlands are natures over flow, flood storage and ground water recharge ares. Wetlands need to be protected, expanded and appreciated for the flood control and water storage that they provide.
