  1. Nuclear energy is too costly and too dangerous. Remember Fukishima and Chernobyl. They are still spewing poisons into the environment and will continue to do so for hundreds of years. Who will pay to store this nuclear waste safely of centuries ? Wind and solar energy combined with battery storage are the future. It is cheaper to build and operate a wind or solar plant than just the cost to operate a nuclear, natural gas or coal power plant. Wind and solar energy are just a better and cheaper option.
