  1. More countries need to be self sufficient in producing chips, vaccines and other essential products. Outsourcing everything is not good for countries and their economies. The PPE shortages and supply chain problems at the beginning of the pandemic are a good example of what is wrong. Countries needs to support their local businesses and require local production of essential products..

  2. Seems like the chip shortage should be an opportunity to shift production from petrol and diesel and go all in on electric vehicles. Time to dump some petrol and diesel models.
