  1. This is sad. Many of these homes could have be restored and made livable before they got this bad. Sure seems like some energetic self employed individuals could have bought whole blocks and brought them back to life. It would have saved the neighborhood, provided local jobs and made some affordable housing for the community.

  2. Sure seems like the local high school should be teaching trades to students and have a school project to rehab houses.. The city could donate a block and the school could do one house a year eventually bringing back a whole neighborhood.
