  1. Climate Change is making weather events more extreme. This will impact the worlds food supply. Floods, droughts, fires, excessive heat, snow storms and low water levels in reservoirs and in ground water storage are becoming more common. We must stop adding more fossil fuels to the climate fire. India, China, Brazil, Japan, US, Europe, Indonesia, Canada, Germany and Australia need to do more to reduce use of fossil fuels. They must stop building and financing more coal fossil fuels power plants. Time to go all in on wind and solar energy, battery storage and electric vehicles. Fossil fuels are a bad investment for people and the planet. Investors are divesting from fossil fuels. wind and solar energy investing is growing. The cost of dealing with the impact of climate change will be greater than the cost of reducing the impact. The world population is expected to grow by another billion people. Where will the food come from ?

  2. A decline in population is a good thing. Focus needs to be on quality of life not quantity of life. Population needs to be in balance with jobs, resources, nature and the environment. Having a bigger population in any country than the country can support makes no sense. Access to food, water, shelter, energy and jobs should guide population levels. The worlds population is still expected to add another billion people to feed, clothe and produce pollution. Humans are crowding out all other species of plants and animals. Education and birth control are key to reducing poverty and hunger. Having a child that you can not provide for yourself is cruel and irresponsible. We need solutions not just sympathy. Endless population growth is not sustainable on a finite planet. Every country needs to "TRY" to be more self sufficient. When there are not enough resources to sustain a population something has to give. Countries need to focus on quality of life for their citizens and not just quantity of life for cheap labor. Why import fossil fuels when wind and solar energy can be produced locally and solar energy can power electric vehicles. We need solutions not just sympathy.

  4. Sounds like a low volume, high cost process. Mulching stubble into the soil would improve soil health and water retention properties of the soil. India has a huge problem with air pollution and that is made worse when farmers burn stubble every year. The government needs to provide mulching machines for co-ops that could loan them to poor farmers and reduce or eliminate the burning and air pollution it causes.

  5. Individuals, politicians and corporations all need to do more to protect the planet from Climate Change. Support environmentally friendly products and companies. Stop using fossil fuels. Stop using pesticides, add solar energy to your home or business, buy an ELECTRIC VEHICLE or get a BICYCLE or scooter, eat more FRUIT and VEGETABLES and less meat and dairy, plant a tree, recycle everything. All new plastic products need to be made from 100% recycled materials. No single use plastic products should be made. Every adult and child should own a BICYCLE and ride it regularly. Donate to non profits fighting for a better future. Support and elect climate leaders. Every child should plant a tree, bush or flowers wiith a parent or teacher. It will help connect them to nature and the environment. .Leave a better future for your children and grandchildren. The sea should not be on fire. We must stop adding more fossil fuels to the CLIMATE FIRE. Voting matters. Local, state and federal elections all matter and have an impact on your life. Do your part. Is the company where you work or the city you live in doing their part ?

Individuals, financial institutions, banks, pension funds, universities and insurance companies are now divesting from fossil fuels. ESG investing is growing. Do your part. Join in and speak up for the future of the planet.
