At anytime after Trump imposes tariffs on China there is a question as to will China retaliate by shutting down Tesla's factory in China. Elon / Tesla and Trump are tied together for better or worse. China will do something to fight back. Any Elon business in China is at risk. This is 60% of Tesla's sales volume and profits that could go away. The Chinese government could stop any sales of batteries to Tesla from CATL or Chips from TSMC. This is a huge risk. Any company that is invested in China or has their supply chain in China is at risk.
