  1. Wind and solar energy combined with battery storage are safer, cleaner and cheaper than fossil fuels. Distributed solar energy is the future. Time to become more self sufficient with solar energy from the sun. A combination of wind and solar energy with battery storage distributed across the country will increase self sufficiency. There are two problems. One is there is a climate crisis so we must reduce fossil fuels use and two Russia can not be relied on.

  2.  @jonathanjones3126  Oh stop passing on incorrect information. Every utility is moving away from fossil fuels and to wind and solar energy with battery storage. Batteries are all able to be recycled and can recover 98% of the materials used to produce them. Mining, processing, fracking and burning fossil fuels is much worse for the planet.

  3.  @VFPn96kQT  Nuclear energy is too costly and too dangerous. Remember Fukishima and Chernobyl ? They are still spewing radiation into the environment many years after the disasters. The cost to store and clean up the nuclear waste will go on for many decades.

  6. Climate Change is making weather events more extreme. Floods, droughts, fires and low water levels in reservoirs and in ground water storage are becoming more common. We must stop adding more fossil fuels to the climate fire. India, China, Japan, US, Indonesia, Canada, Germany and Australia need to do more to reduce use of fossil fuels. They must stop building and financing more coal fossil fuels power plants. Time to go all in on wind and solar energy and electric vehicles. Fossil fuels are a bad investment for people and the planet. Investors are divesting from fossil fuels. ESG investing is growing. Hydrogen is a waste of time and money. The natural gas industry is pushing it.
