  1. Time to ramp up wind and solar installations which can produce energy locally and do not need to be imported. We need incentives to install electric heat pumps in homes and businesses and get rid of oil and gas boilers. We need incentives to switch to all electric vehicles and dump petrol and diesel vehicles that need imported oil. There is a lot we can do to fight the energy crisis and the Climate Crisis at the same time. Every country needs to look to be more self sufficient. The wind and sun combined with battery storage can provide all the energy needed to power the economy.
