More Incentives for wind and solar energy production combined with battery storage are needed. Speed up the phase out of coal fired power plants. Provide incentives to install electric heat pumps and replace oil and gas fired heating systems in homes and businesses. Drive an electric vehicle and phase out all petrol and diesel vehicles. All transportation needs to go electric. Trucks, buses, trash haulers, farm equipment and construction equipment needs to go electric. Every child and adult should own a bicycle and ride it regularly for short distance travel. Ride to work, school or for fun. Switch to a more plant based diet. It has less of an impact on nature and the environment than animal agriculture. Elect climate leaders and dump fossil fuels industry puppets. Everything must be recycled. All new products need to be made from recycled materials. Manufactures need to use recycled materials to produce new products and design their products to be easily recycled.

@richardnixon7248 Nuclear energy is too costly and too dangerous. Fukushima and Chernobyl are still spewing poisons into the environment and will do so for decades to come.

@sarahbrown5073 Solar energy alone can provide all the energy the earth will need many times over. Add to that wind energy, geothermal and wave energy to provide cheap energy for all. The world has no choice but to get off of fossil fuels and move to sustainable energy. 110+ degree temperatures in many parts of the world are making working outside unbearable. We have rivers drying up and they can no longer provide water for drinking or the transportation of goods. Weather events are getting more extreme with floods, droughts and high temperatures damaging infrastructure and ruining the planting of food crops. You are living in a fairytale land if you think we can continue to burn fossil fuels and survive. This year has given us a preview of the temperatures, floods and droughts that will only get worse every year in the future. Add to that rising sea levels and the flooding of coastal cities the amount of damage will be massive. We have no choice.

Weather events are getting more extreme because of Climate Change. How hot does it have to get before governments and corporations wake up and stop adding more fossil fuels to the climate fire. There is a Climate Crisis. We need Climate Action NOW !
