  1. There is no economic activity when the city is locked down. Many small and medium businesses will go broke and employees will have no income. Freedom of movement and freedom of speech are under appreciated until they are taken away.

  2. Numbers of infections don't tell you much. How many people are hospitalized or dying ? Why is the government so worried about infections ?

  3. It seems like China knows something about the virus that the rest of the world does not if it needs to be so extreme. The release of the virus from a lab in Wuhan now seems more likely. Are the effects of long covid more severe than we know ? Are there long term brain, heart and lung impacts that we will learn about in the future
