  1. Companies moved production to China for access to cheap labor. It also made long supply chains. It is time for many companies to move manufacturing back to their home countries and reduce or eliminate supply chain risks. Companies need to provide jobs, income and taxes to countries that buy their goods by manufacturing goods closer to where they are sold. The pandemic has shown the problems with offshoring jobs and manufacturing.
