The economy will not recover until the virus is under control. There is no vaccine yet. There is no effective treatment yet. People are not doing the things they need to in order to stay safe and not spread the virus. Wear a mask, keep social distance, wash hands. Until the infections slow or stop people will be afraid to go out and spend money. Hopefully there will be a vaccine by the end of the year or early next year. It will take a long time for that to get to all the people that want it.
