  1.  @modedchild  And everyone ignores the process to mine for coal, transport it and burn it, or the fracking for natural gas and the pollution of aquifers, or maybe the drilling for oil, oil spills in the ocean, on land or from pipelines. The materials used in batteries can all be recycled. Fossil fuels destroy the environment when they are produced and burned. The fossil fuels industry funds climate deniers and spreads FUD just like what the tobacco industry did saying no link between smoking and cancer. Repeating their nonsense does not make it true.

  2. Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, no pollution, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs. Gas and diesel are OLD polluting technology.
