What If the PLC remained united Well then it wouldn't be a PLC it was a confederation but one which members were constantly fighting each other And no Its not like Lithuania was constantly fighting Poland it was the same people who took bites out of Poland IE Russia,Prussia,and Austria constantly fighting each other on who next would hold the Polish thrown. Putting it in simple terms a untied PLC would have to ditch the elected monarchy system it was one which worked until others found out how easy it was to abuse.

@sunclonkt7839 you would be surprised how effective communist rebels have been in India they have been fighting a communist insurgency there for decades Well technically there Naxalites not communists but a Naxalite is more or less a Indian communist Oh BTW the Naxalites are also the largest terrorist group in the world But yeah I see your point if they were to seize power they wouldn't be able to hold it for long at all.

@Илья Ветров I mean that's something else but even if everything goes great with centralization well then there's still another problem the lack of geographic demarcation lines there is a reason why in the direct aftermath of WW1 eastern Europe was the mess that it was the cultural make up of the eastern reaches of the former PLC was a complete mess. There's still the problem of the ruthenians supporting the Russians in case of war or the Crimean germans supporting the Austrians in case of war minor in comparison but still a problem Putting it simply even if Poland is able to unite politically it still would be far from United in terms of culturally I wouldn't be surprised if even if the PLC remains strong when the age of revolutions comes around there's major ruthenian,tartar,and hell even through Prussian in there revolts. keep in mind this was that was the same time the Scottish rose up roughly 200 times just in hopes of restoring the house of Stuart so a very minor agitation would be all that would be required. Keep in mind it's not even like they could create a "proto intermarium" like federation since no matter what they do it will upset someone weather it's the belorussians over Lithuania or the Lithuanians over Prussia owning memel hell what do you do between the tartars and ruthenians/pre Rusification Ukrainians.

@Илья Ветров I mean it's not just the ruthenians it's also the Prussians,Lithuanians,Crimean Greeks,Crimean Germans not to mention how much of a loss spitting up ruthenian would be for Poland just like that roughly a third of there manpower gone just as a example Not to mention your saying a "UK is harder to create between 2 hostel power's" just look at what Denmark did after the failure of the union of kalmar surrounded by Sweden and the Hanseatic league which we'll wasn't exactly Friendly to there control over what gets into the Baltic Sea. Sure a UK wouldn't work in Polands case but saying it can't is wrong But it doesn't need to it only needs to keep there support think more Yugoslavia than UK not a better comparison by any means but that's not exactly what it would be just the best way to get the idea of what it would be this would be a uniquely polish system so comparisons are hard. No matter what Poland did unless they granted at least some form of limited self government to its largest cultures other than polish and MAJOR reforms in a lot of other areas and on top of that held out long enough for Bismarck to be raised in polish controlled Neumark which is not as hard as it seems just let the holzensours marry into the polish vassal of Prussia and just like that your vassal has a Pu AND he was loyal to Poland and he still was the Bismarck we know and then Poland can continue to be a great power till today otherwise we'll more of a impact but not one that is still being felt today.

@Илья Ветров it was a very strategic area which Is why I'm bringing up the tartars a good way to make the Commonwealth stronger is for it to simply have taken the chrimea from the ottomans fairly early on there's a reason why the Russians wanted it back so bad And yeah realistically Prussia probably would get there independence but it's not like it's impossible for Poland to hold on to it and there's a fairly simple change to make it more likely as in a lot more likely they hold onto it and even if they dont would make prussia a much lesser threat put greater focus on developing the Prussian countryside which was where the majority of the poles were living in the area and we'll a government can only survive by support of the populous and we'll just look at the "greater polish uprising" as a example of why this would either destabilize prussia or stabilize it under polish rule.

@siddharthtyagi8980 maoists still are a form of communists. I said naxilites not communist because a generalization that just means "proletarian dicatorship" or workers dictatorship is so braud I just specialized it a little bit. Alongside that with the recent tension between india and china they have began distancing themselves a bit for I guess PR reasons.
