  7.  RAPHZ OOO  stuff like the Size of the large multi ethnic empire that ruled a large swath of it But the main thing people point to when they say the Islamic world declined is in "scientific thought" which it always was philosophical thought there's a reason why technological advancement has been so much faster the past 300 years that's one big reason right there they stopped having technological parity with the "west"

  9.  RAPHZ OOO  yeah like I said late Rome was fairly atheistic before axial age religions IE Christianity came in to fill the void left by the decline in Greek-roman pagan gods. And saying gaileo was the start still is a bit disingenuous since he was still in the minority it wasn't before the 1700s when normal people picked up there ideas and doing experiments themselves hints the 200 years where nothing in terms of technological advances really changed.

  13. @François Miville American politics have nothing to do with it the one thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on is sending to Isreal no one in us politics is against Isreal And we'll before trump came in to turn "neo cons" Into "never trumpers" because of his stance of Afghanistan and other wars we did our original objective in killing bin laden before it's shifted to nation building.

  15. @François Miville I honestly don't think the problems with the American police force is Really overblown It's probably because I've been in the Dominican Republic where police were accepting bribes to let people violate quarantine Not saying they don't have problems big city cops definitely do its just I think it's blown way out of proportion.
