Im not sure if russia is like a chinese italy durring WW1 or if turkey is more like a american italy Durring WW1 either way there will be some form of backstabbing. Also dont forget about that russo-indian aliance and turko cultural affinity with central asia I really doubt turks would be okay killing kazachs.

@kokofan50 ok fair enough It also could be a possibility of russia being more like china In WW2 picking there fights this is not going to be total war so russia easily could fight turkey in the caucauses or ukraine and stabbing belarus in the back. Potentially even Kazackstan if they wount mess with chinas supply roots. Edit without getting completly involved

@kokofan50 oh not to mention the recent the nagorno debacle turkey and russia has not gotten along ever since the great turkish war. And well Russia still sees Ruthenians as Russians so that is still a potential option for them if theres one thing for sure I dont think russia will just sit back and watch its either they will be distracted elsewhere or they will be there.

Another important factor you didnt touch on is the internal stability of both countrys aka US and especially China. Neither are as stable as they seem the US is probably slightly more than they seem and china has around 500 protests a day no one seems to talk about. Edit A china with to much strain put on it would overthrough the CCP.

@kokofan50 I mean your forgetting about A russias strength and B the russo-indian aliance russia would strugle to stay nuteral in WW3 in the same way the US did in the other ones.
