  1. Where I used to live in new albany ohio is getting the largest simiconductor factory in the world. Thats just one factory but its going to be up in around 5 years The us could build its own supply within a decade or so it has all the supplys other than potententially time.

  2.  @MagicSpud  Ive heard of a few other smaller ones as well from companies by texas instruments but for all I know those are small output to test the waters of domestic us productuon.

One interesting thing about taiwan is in some ways its more japanese than japan itself with its media at least you have a prime minister running on a visual novel and gouvernment officials doing cosplay for pr. Im not sure if its a anti mainland backlash, being pulled into japans cultural sphere just due to raw size, or ties carrying over from colonial times although I doubt that last one. But I wouldnt be surprised if there was a anti mainland revolt in taiwan if china were to take it seeing as how diffrent the taiwanese and chinese youth are.
