Globalization Rich folks can make money in France,China,Ethiopia,etc basically the hole connected world. Meanwhile your stuck suffering in your own country with no exits to make money abroad.

@farbrormelker2341 that influence has lead to discontent on all sides people don't like being told what they can or can't do Not to mention the amount of gouvernments that have collapsed recently even with all of that influence look to the soviets and a couple post soviet governments or the entire Arab spring before Saudia Arabia and Iran propped up opposing sides against each other smart people have taken notes from those lthough gouvernments included It's not harder it just requires way more support which that level of support is rare yes. Also you never could resist the gouvernment alone period let alone with just a rifle and a colored flag you have to be in touch with a large part of the population which due to how atomized the west is where I'm assuming your from that why it's been so stable.

@rogueassassin875 assuming the world would all be deserts in a post global warming world The extra water and rainfall should have the opposite effect shouldnt it? Not to say that's caused by a good thing coastal cities would need to be evacuated and rebuilt similar urban centers further inland but still I would expect a more humid word instead of a constant deserts.

@LiveType if your talking about the opportunities global warming will open up for russia Canada would gain more I would think although that might just result in america crushing them. Plus there demograohic situation is dire russia is about to have more retires than active workers.

@neasper wrong direction Im talking about in the eastern med intering the saudia arabia iran cold war as a 3rd player Intering libya as the kingmaker Europe would be cut off they have 0 influence in serbia or ukraine there really pushing in the middle east and in the eastern med. Where france is trying prop up a defence line around Egypt, Greece, the UAE, Bahrain and Cyprus while still potentially including isreal in the future.

@rogueassassin875 okay fair enough for dubai But the entire game there there was alot of potential with russian step cities like volgagrad to become more like central asia or mongolia if they wanted to stick to the high tech dessert thing. Also Holistic Planned Grazing exsists and has allready been used in richer dessert countries like egypt on a small scale. Im also kinda surprised no one thinks about the effects of extra precipitation will have on desserts but eh Im probably looking to far into the game.
