Anglo saxons came genocided celtic leaving only the welsh but still a part of english is celtic by this point it was more or less a "nordic culture" just not in the modern sence. 3. Normans invaide Gallicization the upper classes quite a bit 4. Slowly the upper classes and lower classes mix creating modern english. Was that so complex?
