  1. Mist western countries allow a leader to run in as many elections as they want till the public decide they are not doing the job and vote them out. If you have a good leader it gives continuity and stability to government. Western countries suffer from everything is programmed to winning the next election makes for bad short term decisions that the next leader dumps then blames all the problems on the new leader. It gives no potential for long term plans.
