  1. I must say that I can completely understand the first farmers point of view concerning Renewables. While solar and small windmills serve a useful purpose in the Nomad World, their application in Midwestern Agricultural land is ludicrous. The panels are useless for the most part in the long winter months covered by snow and under cloudy skies. The windmills are heavy and take a fair amount of sustained wind to be significantly impactful. I have often seen them sitting idle for extended periods of time, while camping for a month on a mountain in Uniontown Pennsylvania, overlooking a decent number of the large windmills. The loss of good fertile farmland is not good for anybody and could impact the food supply chain very significantly. God bless these farmers for their service to all of us. Thank you Peter for giving us the opportunity to hear these important perspectives, from the people actually on the ground. You are doing us all a great service. Thank you and God bless.
