@peterwong5993 Peter, that's not true. In 1990, Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine, it was stated that Ukraine to be neutral and never join any military blocks. In 1992, Ukraine joined the North Atlantic Cooperation Council In 2006, in Crimea there were civil protests against NATO soldiers deploying on peninsula, I remember it myself in Feodosia people were blocking buses full of NATO mobs. In 2008, Ukraine applied to integrate with a NATO Membership Action Plan. In 2019, joining NATO plan was declared in The Constitution of Ukraine.

@peterwong5993 1. The coup in Ukraine in 2014 was funded and organized by USA. 2. People living in the South and East Ukraine did not agree with the coup and did not want to merge with EU. Some of them were burnt alive in Odessa, some fled from and disappeared in Nikolaev, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, even war was declared on people living in Donbass region. Strangely, but these people's will did not count. 3. USA is the head and moving force of NATO, making and approving all the decisions made by this organization. For example USA intervention in Iraq, Norway is a NATO participant, sending troops to Iraq since 2002. Invading Iraq what business is it of Norway?

@peterwong5993 The 2014 coup did not have the majority, yet even the majority can't genocide minority in "a democracy". There is one example: In Autonomous Republic of Crimea Russians are 65% to 70% of the peninsula population, historically. Ukrainians are around 15%, and Tatars around 13%. And more than 80% of the population are Russian speaking. Ukraine prohibited Russian language in schools, television, communications in and with government. In 2014 couping mob articulated death threats to people of Russian ethnicity in Ukraine. So the majority in Crimea decided to leave Ukraine and join Russia. Do you support such manifestation of the Democracy?

@peterwong5993 I have half of my relatives living in Krasnodar Kray and Crimea since beginning of 20th century, and by smaller part I'm ethnic Ukrainian. I do not know how long ago you were in Ukraine, but even before 2022 there were no public schools teaching in Russian in Ukrane, even in regions where Russian speaking people are the majority. I have a friend in Odessa, her family lives there for some generations already, she is a Russian speaking native, but she can't write properly, because she did not learn Russian grammar at school, there was no Russian at all. And Odessa since it's foundation is a Russian speaking city.

There was no war in Ukraine until USA funded and organized coup in 2014. Why would USA do that? Would they do it for the benefit of the Ukrainian people? Since the coup in 2014 Ukraine's becoming one the poorest countries in Europe with a demographic catastrophe.
