I would like to straighten something up about history. Unfortunately too many people lie about history now to follow an agenda. Not just Australia. Just a couple of facts. Firstly, the Endeavour was NOT a war ship as some would have you believe. It was a trade ship. It of course had armaments encase they were attacked by pirates. Every ship did then. Secondly, Cook had set up trade with Fiji and stopped at Australia to do trade with the natives there. Unfortunately they couldn't get the natives to understand anything, so they decided to leave. As they were boarding the Endeavour a native speared one of Cooks men in the back. So don't get the impression that Australian natives were these innocent people who were attacked for no reason. As idiots try to make out today. A lot of bad things happened to a lot of people throughout history. People today can't be made responsible for it. The past is the past as they say. It can't be changed, even though people are trying to by tearing down statues, creating false history etc. You can't even learn from history when people are changing it, which is the real damage.
