  1. "Americanisation" is a term used by idiots who are just anti-American. The reality is if many of these things weren't done by the people who actually have the expertise, we wouldn't have anything. I have no doubt that we have people in Australia smart enough and inventive enough to build these things, but they would need financial support and that is something Australians will rarely get from the Australian government or corporations who are only interested in their own self interest.
