Many move to the U.S. or England, actors as well, because they just can't get the recognition and support in Australia. It is very sad. We lose so much.

@freebirds67 That is a pathetic excuse that has been used for years. Proved by people like Chris Hemsworth who live here and still have their career and are making movies here. It isn't just the music and movie business. The same excuse has been used with manufacturing and inventions. I remember years ago a man named Sarich invented a new engine. It was going to cost a billion dollars to tool up manufacturing in Australia. So the Hawk Keating government said no and the tech was purchased by the U.S. who made money and we didn't get an f-ing cent. Not long after Keating handed a billion dollars to Vietnam to build roads and bridges. There is your f-ing problem.
