  1. The U.S. isn't on it's own, Australian signs are very similar. In Europe you have many different countries close together who share borders, so they have chosen to use symbols rather than spoken language. Where as in Australia and the U.S. where we speak English, our signs are spelt out mostly. Quite frankly WE do it better.
