Just don't believe the BS that is going around. Flooding is worse in some areas than others. Where I live in Sydney I have seen more rain and flooding, even in the last couple of years, than in this period. Most of the problems as usual are caused by corrupt and incompetent Governments and Councils not doing what they should be, because they don't want to pay for it, even though it is OUR money. They also make corrupt deals with developers to build on flood prone land. They did it right near my place, built right up to the edge of the creek, which floods with enough rain. A couple of years ago the back yard of that house was a lake. Came close to going into the house. Like I said worse flood than we got this time. Also the climate nuts said there would be ""LESS"" rain and the dams would dry up. Now they say it is responsible for the flooding. After blaming the fires a couple of years ago on it. They just change the BS, instead of admitting they are wrong. The if the poles melted BS again. If they did it would be like tipping a shot glass of water into an Olympic pool. There is a thing called displacement. All the ice below water would not have any affect on sea level. There is also a lot of air, salt and air pockets in the ice. A fraction of the total mass would add to ocean levels. It would have negligible if any affect.
