  1. Roundabouts can be good. The largest flaw are idiot governments and idiot drivers. Some of the rules are stupid and can actually cause accidents if people don't pay attention. In Australia you get imbeciles who seem to think roundabouts are stop signs and they will stop even if there is nothing on or approaching. I had an accident where a moron did this. There was nothing on the roundabout and a vehicle approaching on the right, but 30 metres away. As I was checking my right, which I am supposed to do, I didn't notice the car in front jump on his brakes for some insane reason. Of course I went into the back of him. At 20km/h you are covering 5.5m per second.
