People have been taken by Crocodiles up North. For whatever reason they wander off into a swamp. I would imagine you would have the same issue with Alligators. Morons want to kill all the Crocodiles over a couple idiots who should know better and ignore advice. It is like if you swim in the ocean don't complain about Sharks. The cost of living is 100% the fault of the Government, who refuse to deal with it. They are more interested in greed and allowing companies to make bigger and bigger profits which means they constantly increase prices and charges. If only we could get rid of them, but Australia is NOT a democracy, it is a dictatorship shared by two parties. The minimum wage may sound good, but it isn't. It is a reflection of the unsustainably high cost of living and only feeds the price increases. If someone with an ounce of intelligence cut ALL costs by 50%, they could cut wages by 40 or 50%. You will still have the same spending power, but the country as a whole would be better off. Of course we couldn't expect someone getting 10 million a year to live on 5, could we. There in lays the problem. That is what V8's are for, cruising those long distances. FAST. I don't know if you are into music, but Johnny Farnham, Olivia Newton John and Jimmy Barns are Australian icons. They were all born in the U.K., but they are all proud Aussies and really reflect what Australia is. The music of course is amazing.
