@mahakleung6992 my point was; why should an AI "feel" threatened if nobody programmed some self-preservation into it. You seem to assume self-preservation as an emergent property of sentient beings.

@mahakleung6992 would that mean the moment i want to kill myself I stop being sentient? And are you aware of the examples from animal kingdom where a self preservation is not necessarily part of the program?
