Thank you both for your service, I'm an old veteran myself,and Joey is correct,it's the privates and corporals who do the heavy lifting on the front lines that the big brass don't always understand,Vietnam the privates in our day performed above and beyond,but,there was a limit when the privates begin to question the mission,it certainly didn't make a whole lot of sense to have take a hill with blood and guts only to leave and give it back to the enemy,Before we went into Iraq,I wrote my Congressman,I warned him this could lead to a quagmire and the privates since there is no draft could lead to multiple deployments, Once or if that happens problems about what the mission is will begin to arise,they say,vets of world war two were the greatest generation,I say,we the vets are all the greatest generation,giving the circumstances to fight in places where the Washington brass didn't have a victory plan. I know you'd guys are part of the next greatest generation, Always listen to the privates on the field,they know what they need to win and believe me we deserve victory,just like today,Zelensky needs our full support to push Putin's army out of the Ukraine,this stuff going on there is just ugly and messy,I don't understand why Biden is slow to respond with more military aid,he should,but he doesn't.
