It took the Democrat party 3 decades of political assaults and harassment of The FBI directors in that time period to reduce the FBI's ability to maintain law enforcement checks on powerful politicians willing to break the rules,laws, and the Constitution to the point where Democrat politicians can literally place themselves above the law and the FBI is now powerless to even arrest Democrats commiting crimes.
