Equity is being misinterpreted surely being formulated to use as a political weapon,equity is a personal discipline not to be handed out like government radicals are pushing,you can't give equity persay, a person builds equity through certain individual disciplines over long period of time,anything else that government claims is equity is a mirage or a disguise,if,you can give equity ,Democrat's are just really doing is expanding welfare state,there are no disciplined value systems involved except,for envy,or sloth,and lazy people looking for government handouts.
