  1. Actually, I have a 1,000 Watt Inverter and a long power cord that I’ve been using for a Decade. The Inverter clips to the Car Battery like Jumper Cables. I run the cord through a window in my Kitchen and plug in the Refrigerator for awhile. Then I use a Power Strip to charge Cell Phones, USB devices, etc. Just make sure your Vehicle isn’t in a Garage when doing so, because of Carbon Monoxide. A couple of cans of Gasoline, rotated every three months or so will get you through just fine. Oh, and the Car will stay warm enough to Sleep in, and you can use your Cell Phone Charger in the Car also. I went two days without power just fine a few years ago. You can get the Inverter online or go to a Chain Auto store like Auto Zone. The whole package should cost less than $500 even in Kalifornia. Hope this helps.
