There were several European Countries who served in Afghanistan, so the Ukrainian Foreign Legion could get some Hundreds, maybe a Thousand or so. But just think of the Language Barriers!

@Jesus2030King True. But think of a French Major giving orders to a Portuguese Sergeant in charge of a Squad of Hungarian Infantry. That was a major issue of the old Austro-Hungarian Military in WWI. They basically had to keep them in Ethnic Units for Combat. But if the Ukraine lasts long enough to form up their Foreign Legion, I say go for it!

@Jesus2030King Bro, who says that the Volunteers speak English? Are the Ukrainians going to turn down Volunteers from El Salvador or Vietnam or Kenya? That’s the Issue, not Europeans who speak English. But I doubt that the fighting will go on long enough to integrate Foreigners into the Ukrainian Military, since it will probably devolve in Guerrilla Warfare. As I said elsewhere, Putin can conquer the Ukraine, but how is he going to RULE it?
