As a Ohio Citizen, the Government just passed a "Stand your Ground" Law a few weeks ago. And the Governor signed it into Law. Hope this helps.

@HarenunHoppus Sure. The Stand Your Ground Law says that you do not have to Retreat/Run Away from an Assailant and wait on the Police to show up to stop the Assault against you. Example: someone breaks into your house, you don't have to run into the Closet and hide, hoping the Cops show up in time. Some states DON'T have it, and people have been Prosecuted for Defending themselves. Probably the most famous case was the Trayvon Martin Incident. Hope this helps.

@davewuest As of today, Ohio has SYG, Castle Doctrine, Open Carry, Concealed Carry w/Permit, Permits are Shall Issue, Permit Reciprocity with any other State’s Permit, Burden of Proof lies with the Prosecution, and State Law Preempts/Overrides Local Ordinances.
