Sorry, but I don’t think that Rand will be chosen. Turtle Head Mitch probably has chosen his successor, and it’ll be one of the Cuck RINOS, just so the work of Screwing Trump and other MAGA Candidates can continue. Which is why Trump should NOT pick a Senator as his VP. He’s going to need every Ally he can when he has to face another Impeachment if he gets the White House back.
