  1. A friend's dad was from Germany, he had lived in the US for years and worked for a very shady company where he signed off on all the checks. They got caught and brought in on criminal charges. When he got on the stand he only spoke in German and pretended not to understand English, managed to get off. Maybe Rosenstein will pretend he only speaks Spanish.

  2. Clintons have gotten off on the "ignorance of the law is ok" defense more than once. Don't forget Hillary faced the exact same charges (destroying evidence that was under subpoena) back in 1994(ish) when she destroyed the books for her law practice but was found with one covered in incriminating evidence with her finger prints and hand writing all over it and still got off.
