You're assuming they did. It's just as likely the post master is now lying knowing the fall out.

Yes. They said Bre had his money.

Technically it was her rental car.

It is amazing how many people don't seem to hear "this is the police" when they're pounding at your door. I had it happen to me twice (cops came for a welfare check for my neighbor, the other there was a shooting in my building and we didn't hear it) both times we heard very clearly "this is the police" and them banging on the door. Both were late at night, one was when my boyfriend and i were asleep in bed (as was my roommate who also heard it from the other side of the apartment) we heard it loud and clear. Every apartment is different but considering we didn't hear a shooting going on the floor above us but we heard the cop knocking on the door - I'm pretty sure they would have heard something.

It wasn't just the statement of USPS that she was involved though. When i first heard the story to me it sounded like he was running a package to USPS for her, not the other way around.

So what was the reason they falsified the warrant? They were trying to frame her? They had recordings saying she was holding his drug money, she had been involved with previous investigations in the past, so maybe they were trying to hedge their bets she'd turn on them? They also would have had to know the postmaster would back up their statements, and falsify database records (only to retract when it went south). It seems like a bit of a stretch (probably didn't need to arrest her to get her to turn on them). I'd like to hear the logic of why they think the cops specifically were targeting Taylor if it was just because. Even then, the cops who wrote the warrant didn't know that the cops executing the warrant would knock, they didn't know the new boyfriend would shoot at the cops injuring one of them, and didn't know that the cops would return fire and somehow only hit her.

Because two months before they knew that Breonna was going to be "asleep in her bed" when they came knocking (they didn't want to - even though they did anyways), then they knew her new boyfriend would shoot through the door and injure one of them so they'd be given justification to fire back and purposefully miss him and only hit her. All because the cops are racist. It was a long con.
