@phillupspace3534 sounds like you're testifying for the prosecution. Wait...you haven't watched the trial obviously so you don't know what that means.

@sherrillsturm7240 wow that's the worst misinterpretation of what happened I've heard. He was fired upon, fired upon the guy reaching for his gun, when he went to turn himself in he was chased and fell down, was kicked in the head, someone tried to smash him with a skateboard to the face and then the dude he told he was turning himself in ran in, fake surrendered and pulled a gun on him. When he went to give him self up the police tried to pepper spray him and told him to get out of the way because he wasn't a threat.

@chieftahchawwickah7341 both sides can claim self defense and be correct. The fact that he pointed a gun at Kyle does not negate his self defense claim but it also does not negate Kyle's. They were both working within their own right to self defense, neither more concrete. On the other hand Gaige had just testified to the fact Kyle had only second before told him he was going to the police, which kind of shows he joined in with the aggression knowing that Kyle had been trying to turn himself in.
