  2. Sean you of all people should recognize that it won’t necessarily bring all housing prices up by 25k with this. Because sellers will have first and not first time buyers it probably will just mean that the first time buyers have an edge and can afford more driving up costs slightly. This will mostly be in the starter home market and will come with many caveats like no trailers, no land purchases, no condos, no townhomes common things for first time buyers to look at because those are not the builders who will be getting discounts. So it will force out people with reasonable credit history looking for a second new home (like purchasing the second not a second home to have at the lake) in favor of people with less credit history to be buying above what they can afford. This is subprime 2.0 and millennials in general won’t fall for it (at least many who lost their homes in 2009. It’s mostly for gen Z who didn’t get to experience the wonderful crash.

  4. Because many sellers will have to compete with people buying for the first time and not the first time it more just causes people with bad credit to out compete those with a history of home ownership. It probably won’t cause all homes to go up by 25k, just entry level homes.
